Yes, I have been calculating and searching for months as paying as much for a phone as I would a computer just kills me. I have gone through the numerous phone calls to T-Mobile to try to figure all of this out. As time goes by they seem to have more and more info and I have been told that there is no way to add the Nexus One to a family plan unless you buy it unsubsidized. They said they simply can't add it, the system won't allow them. And actually, if you do the math on the plan that Google has online you end up paying $15 more per month for the 24 month contract than you would if you were to buy the phone outright and pay TMobile for the same exact plan (the 500 minutes and data). So that means all they are doing is financing your phone for you and you actually end up paying slightly more than $529. Hence, I will be paying full price soon, just haven't pulled the trigger yet but getting closer every day!

Question. Do you think this would work?

After 22+ months, (which is where i am) switching to boost mobile for 1 or 2 days, then going on google.com/phone to get a nexus one at the subsidized $179.99 price and still port my existing number over?

I really want to keep my existing phone number.

Hmm, my mistake then. It is published in the market by "Steve Kondik" which is Cyanogen's real name.

[WORDPRESS HASHCASH] The poster sent us '0 which is not a hashcash value.
